Ear Tinnitus Relief – Two Approaches To Curing
Tinnitus
Tinnitus is often described as a “ringing in
the ears” that has no external source. Depending on the
causes of tinnitus this sound can be the tell tale high
pitched ringing noise or it can be other sounds like a
popping, tweeting, buzzing or combinations of them
all.
The intensity and duration of the noise can vary depending
on how bad the tinnitus is. For some people it may happen once
in a while and last for a minute or two. For others it can be a
constant 24 hours a day. As you can imagine, if there is a high
pitched sound interfering with your hearing 24 hours a
day then you need to find some kind of cure, or at least some
relief, urgently.
The ringing in the ears can make it hard to sleep which can
lead to exhaustion, frustration or irritability. The noise can
also make it hard to concentrate which could interfere with
your ability to work or get things done. All in all, your
stress levels will rise and your body will steadily get run
down if you do not remedy your tinnitus problems.
It is thought that the main causes of tinnitus are damage to
the cochlea (or middle ear). In most cases this is progressive
damage which takes time to manifest as a ringing noise. Thus
the condition is more prevalent in people in their 50's and up,
but the cause may have begun in their
childhood.
Another common cause is thought to be stress. Elevated
stress levels can bring on the symptoms of tinnitus. Other
factors that may bring on the condition are drugs and
medication for other ailments and sinus infections.
There are a few alternatives when it comes to treating
tinnitus. A common approach is to retrain the ear so that it
filters out the sound. This is often done using a background or
“white noise” that helps the brain tune out the ringing noise
and concentrate on the other sound. Once the ringing is tuned
out, the brain will not be confused by the ringing and the
individual can get back to normal.
Other methods include ways to alleviate the stress a person
may be feeling. There are a few approaches to combining many of
these treatments in a plan of action to curing your tinnitus.
Two such plans are the ebooks End
Your Tinnitus and Banish Tinnitus . They
can provide tinnitus relief and even cure the condition if
